Sovereignty Royale

6-player game in progress (prototype components)

Players: 2-6 Time: 15-20 minutes per player Age: 12+

Every seventh year the Sovereignty Royale is held to choose the new Supreme Sovereign, overseen by the Kingdom Chancellor. Each Kingdom has seven coloured cities, each governed by its matching colour Kingdom.

Sealing a City

As a Sovereign, your main objective is to successfully seal seven cities within the realm by deploying three of your Envoys in the same city. The city colour is not important, unless playing with the advanced Sovereign Loyalty rules.

The Sovereign who successfully seals seven cities first is then declared the Supreme Sovereign of Katrushea.

You decide where your opponent deploys their Envoys!

If you choose to deploy an Envoy in a blue City in any Kingdom, then the next player must deploy an Envoy in an unsealed City, or take an Envoy from, within the Blue Kingdom.

Each unsealed city can have a maximum of any three Envoys. The city colour does not have to match your Envoy colour. However, you must deploy three of your Envoys in the same city in order to seal it.

Clever use of Diplomatic Powers and sealing cities to gain bonuses, makes the game dynamic and different each time you play.

Players looking for a different challenge can use the Citadels of the Realm board (flip side), and/or add the Sovereign Loyalty rules for scoring. Other game variations add to the re-playability of the core game.
